At the weekend, a trip to the cinema is a great way to spend a few hours in the afternoon, particularly if the weather is cold and wet. I also quite like going to the cinema on scorching hot days, because the air conditioning is a great way to cool down.
Where I live, there is a fantastic old-fashioned cinema, which is really like stepping back in time, although in fairness, the picture quality and sound isn't really terribly state-of-the-art, and the seats are a little on the lumpy side, just a bit. It is a fun experience though, especially as there are sofa seats at the back and an ice cream stall at the front, before the film starts.
There are also lots of modern Odeon cinemas close to where I live, in nearby towns, which offer more of a choice and all of the latest films. And so whenever I see a film that I think is worth mentioning and maybe reviewing, whether it is at a cinema, on the television or online through Amazon Prime (Netflix is also available!), I will be writing about it here. Some of my recent favourites include Deadpool with Ryan Reynolds, Goosebumps with Jack Black, Dirty Grandpa with Zac Efron and Robert De Niro, Star Wars (The Force Awakens), and all of the Hunger Games films, of course.
