If you are a girl, then hair, makeup and nail varnish are all very important when you are going out - and for some guys too. I'm not judging, it's great to make the most of your appearance, whoever you are!
Makeup is truly amazing stuff, but the quality varies tremendously, and it's not all to do with price either. So I've made lots of different YouTube videos about makeup, trying out a mixture of drugstore and high-end cosmetics brands, and saying what I think about them. I find that it is very important to research well before buying, so that you can spend your money wisely.
I have long red / ginger hair, and when I'm out in the full sun, it looks extremely red. So red that many people think that I actually dye it, and sometimes they don't even believe me when I say that it is completely natural. I get it cut roughly once a month, to keep it neat and tidy, and free from frizz and split ends.
Whether you have long or short hair, keeping it in good condition is important. A big part of that is really down to the shampoo and conditioner that you use, as well as perhaps an occasional deep conditioning hair treatment, such as Olaplex Hair Perfector, Revlon Uniq or TRESemme 7-Day Keratin Smooth Heat Activated Treatment. Then there's anti-frizz sprays, hair sprays and thickeners, including Bed Head Superstar Queen For A Day Thickening Spray. The biggest problem that I find is choosing the best product for me.
I've been playing around and using makeup since I was 13, basically because it's so much fun and you've got to start practicing at some stage. I rarely wear very much and my Every Day Makeup Routine is fairly simple, because I favour a 'Barely There' makeup look, as well as the impression of Flawless Skin.
While it is fair to say that makeup can and is often used to cover up annoying spots, breakouts and blemishes, if you have a good skincare routine and good skin, then its much easier to achieve a professional appearance when it comes to the world of makeup and cosmetics.
There's so much more to nail polish / varnish than just painting your nails pink and glossy. Some of my oldest YouTube videos are simple nail art tutorials, including ladybirds for children, rainbows and galaxy nails.
