Cutie Cruz and his Cup Song
This has got to be one of the sweetest things that I've seen this year. Brooklyn Beckham's younger brother Cruz, son of Victoria and David, was filmed by his mum Posh Spice as he sang the cup song (as sung by Anna Kendrick off of Pitch Perfect), complete with perfect cup actions.
He's got a really great voice and with his mum's connections with the music industry, I'm guessing that he's going to be a star of the future.

Girls and Boys, Pink or Blue, Dolls or Dinosaurs?
When I was younger, my dad was always quite against gender stereotyping, where girls are given dolls and their bedrooms are painted pink, and boys are given toy cars and their bedrooms are painted blue. So my bedroom was yellow and when people started giving me dolls as presents, he bought me these great big dinosaurs to play with, and I absolutely loved them, especially the T-Rex.
I still had lots of girly things and I had a toy pram, but instead of putting one of my dolls in it, I used to push around my big T-Rex. Looking back, this must have been so funny to see and I do remember people giving me funny looks. One lady even came over to see what was in my pram and then laughed when she peered in. Anyway, my brother is currently in the process of clearing out the loft, to sell stuff on eBay, and the other day he found my old toy dinosaurs and took this cool picture of them on fake grass. I'll be sad to see them go, if anyone buys them.

Creey Kid - Not So Creepy After All!
I love some of the crazy names that people come up with for their Instagram accounts and YouTube channels, they can be so random and so funny. So when I started watching some of Creepy Kid's videos the other day, it was a pleasant surprise, because as it turned out, there's nothing creepy about this kid at all.
In fact, Jay (his real name) is a really nice guy and makes some hilarious videos, so I've decided to feature him here. I particularly liked one of his videos where he said that his brand new MacBook laptop 'smells of technology'.

2K on YouTube - Wonderful Subscribers
It's been such an exciting week for my Instagram account, and now my YouTube channel as well! If anyone had said to me a few months ago that I might have 2,000 YouTube subscribers, I would have thought that they were talking absolute nonsense - and yet it has happened.
I'm so pleased and I've recently gained some really lovely subscribers, such as Geek With Me, HavannaWbu, Hayleigh and Sunny, Hayleigh Teckenbrock, Melissa Mui, Mona Sorger, Mr. Calomer, Rainbowlollypop Gamer1298, Raya Paguia and Swimgym 2004, not to mention the most excellent Howtobyolivia - check them all out if you can, and sorry if I've missed anyone off the long list. 10K on Instagram
I love Instagram and have two separate accounts, one for this website: @nilipod Instagram, and my personal one: @idknia Instagram. They've both steadily gained followers this year, which is great, and my @idknia account finally reached 10K follows, which was so exciting. So, I went to my local card shop and got a couple of silver helium balloons - they'd literally just come in 30 minutes before, so that was incredibly fortunate. I got myself a '1' and a '0' (1 + 0 makes 10 you see!) and set off to have some photos of me holding them, against the sunny blue sky.
It was all going too well, because when we got to this particular location, in the countryside, the weather changed and it became incredibly windy. As you can imagine, windy weather is not ideal when you are holding two massive helium balloons in the air. I was nearly blown over several times and my arms were aching so badly where I was trying to hold them in place. I don't know how they didn't actually blow away, because they really weren't tied to the string very well. I guess they are party balloon for inside a house really, not for holding in gale force winds! Still, at least it stayed nice and sunny, and miraculously, I did manage to get a few pictures that were quite good, and so I was able to post one on Instagram. And then when I got back into the car, both of the balloons came off the string and started to float around in the car, so amazingly they must have been seconds from blowing away outside in the wind!

Easter in Oxford
I had a great Easter Break for a few days in Oxford. I'd never been to this historic university city before and so it was fun taking a sightseeing bus trip around the main attractions, just like a real tourist! First stop was the Ashmolean Museum, where there was an enormous exhibition of Andy Warhol creations, which included some rather unusual 'pee art' pictures. Basically, he painted canvasses with a metallic copper paint and then got a friend to pee on them so that the metal would oxidise - and amazingly these now sell for more than £1 million each. Now, if I did something like that at school, I'd probably get into serious trouble, but because he's an 'artist', everyone is in raptures.
We also went to Oxford's Natural History Museum, which was free to enter and had some amazing fossils, including a large skeleton of a T-Rex dinosaur. I also came face to face with a dodo bird, kind of. Later on we hopped back onto the sightseeing bus and continued our tour, only to drive past the car park where we were parked - when we saw that my dad had left the lights on his car - all day. When he finally reached the car (the bus drove by for a long way), the battery was completely flat, and basically it took hours to sort out. Looking back, it was kind of funny I suppose, especially where he opened the windows but couldn't close them again, because there was no power left. And then it started to rain really, really heavily. Nice memories.
The following day we all went for a walk around the Oxford University Botanical Gardens and along the banks of the River Cherwell. It was a glorious day, and so I took lots of photos of the gardens and the beautiful spring flowers, and then we went for a trip on a gondola boat, complete with a gondolier 'chauffeur' and a very long punt. The river was flowing so fast that we nearly ended up joining the River Thames, but we all made it back quite safely in the and, and most importantly - dry!

April Fools' Day
Has anyone been up to some April Fools' Day nonsense this year? I love this day, it really gives you the chance to play some harmless pranks on your friends and parents. One of my favourites is that old classic where you just put cling film across a doorway, or on the toilet, or a plastic cup of water on the top of a door. Of course, if you want some great pranking ideas, then you'll have to turn to the YouTube experts in that arena, such as the amazing Prank vs Prank channel with Jesse and Jeana, and Joe Sugg's Thatcher Joe channel, where he constantly plays jokes on his mate Caspar Lee.
