Going for a Walk in the Woodland and Getting Wet in the River
On a sunny day in the winter, we went for a walk in some nearby woods. As we had our wellies on, we decided to go for a paddle in the rapids. but Liv's boots started leaking. It was a complete disaster for her, but she didn't mind walking around with squelchy wellies and soggy feet. We had to stop at one stage so that she could tip the water out of her boots, ready for another paddle in the river.
A woodland walk is a lovely thing to do at any time of the year, although in the winter, everything is usually a lot muddier, wetter and colder. It's still fun though and we're never put off by the British weather, otherwise we'd hardly do anything. It is sunny sometimes though (!) and we usually go to the beach on those days.
