If you could give out an award for the most ridiculous and stupid song ever to be created, ever, then this song by Norwegian comedy duo 'Ylvis' would probably be a very strong contender. 'What Does The Fox Say?' was a huge hit in 2013 and with more than 1/2 billion views against its YouTube video alone, it is fair to say that the song is a viral success.
The video starts off all very normally, with a man singing about animals at a garden party - 'Dog goes woof, cat goes meow.
Bird goes tweet, and mouse goes squeak. Cow goes moo. Frog goes croak, and the elephant goes toot'.
But when he reaches the chorus, it all kicks off in the forest. 'Ring-ding-ding-ding-dingeringeding! Gering-ding-ding-ding-dingeringeding!' The song is best appreciated when you sing along with it, very, very loudly.
