We had a go at making a Christmas village display, using miniature Lemax buildings, model trees and tiny people, and recorded the whole process from start to finish. Hopefully it might give you a few ideas if you want to create your very own winter wonderland in your lounge as well.
This took us around two hours, which was much longer than we thought it would take, although there was so much to do. We love adding in all of the details as they really make the scene look realistic and come to life. These details not only include trees and people, but snowmen, icicles on the roofs, a sprinkling of fake snow powder, ducks on the frozen pond, frosty fences and Santa Claus flying overhead in the distant sky, with his team of reindeer leading him and his sleigh over the rooftops.
