Dan Howell's Elephant Adventure
Dan Howell has recently taken some great selfies with elephants and posted them on his Twitter account. Everyone seems to be re-posting these at the moment, so I thought I'd join in with the Phan fun, but with a little bit of a difference. Time for a Change
Since launching the NiliPod towards the end of last year, so much has happened. The website now has around 25,000 people reading it each month, which is amazing, and the YouTube channel is just about to reach 1,000 subscribers. So, I'd like to say a huge big thank you to everyone who has taken the time to listen to our podcasts, watch our videos and check out our website.
And now for the big announcement, we have decided to make this week's podcast the last and Liv is going to take a break from the NiliPOD, as it is a lot of work! It has all been so great and she gave me the confidence to do all of this in the first place, so I will always be incredibly grateful, and hopefully she'll pop up on the odd vlog or YouTube video every now and again, along with some of my other friends. Don't worry though, things will continue pretty much as they are right now, except for the podcasts - the last one will be this weekend, RIP! I'll be doing more vlogs now instead. The website and everything else has enjoyed a bit of a re-brand - the colourful graffiti has gone and now it's tranquil seaside shades (!) of pale blue and beige. I hope you like it, let me know what you think.

Brace Yourself!
I've been dreading this day for the past year, but it has finally come and I now have some 'train track' braces cemented to my teeth. I've had a removeable brace for the past year and this is so different.
My mouth is really, really sore at the moment and so I'm only able to eat soup and ice cream, but hopefully it will settle down soon, and I've only got 18 months to go now! Still, they say that time flies - not quite sure who 'they' are though.

Valentine's Day
Was anyone feeling romantic on Valentine's Day yesterday? I went to a restaurant for a meal with some friends and it was so cute to see all of the lovey dovey couples sitting at their 'tables for two' and holding hands, whilst gazing into each other's eyes and drifting off into a world of romance.
Some of the guys had even splashed out on some nice red roses, and so I wondered if anyone had an unexpected card perhaps, or experienced a surprise romantic gesture? I ripped up a paper serviette and made this cute love heart on the wooden table! Let me know how your February 14th went...
